About us
At the beginning of the 1970s there has been a great surge of optimism in the lower Elbe region. On both sides of the stream new industrial sites were established and the land changed from an agricultural to an industrial characterized region.
To manage this development in Schleswig-Holstein, the egeb was founded in 1971. From the beginning as a sole development agency the egeb has grown over the years. Now we provide all kinds of services for the administrations and companies in the counties of Dithmarschen and Steinburg. Our primary goal is to ensure the economic success of our region.
