Economic and Science Park for Blue Biotechnology
Büsum is known throughout Germany as a seaside ressort, but is currently developing into an international center for Blue Biotechnoloy, which through the biological processing of sea organisms produces products for everyday life.
The mariCUBE is Schleswig Holsteins first economic and science park for blue biotechnology. With its vicinity to the Research and Technology Centre (FTZ) and the Company for Marine Aquaculture (GMA)the mariCUBE provides an excellent environment for any researchers.
The mariCUBE is a competence center and forum for science, research and applied technologies. Büsum has become an optimal location for enterprises, who would like to use this pool of knowledge in the area of marine biotechnologie economically.
