The demographic change will drastically change the future job market of Schleswig-Holstein, especially in Dithmarschen and Steinburg. There will be a need for highly quallified employees and graduates with technical and natural scientific degrees.
The need for skilled workers will begin in 2015, five years earlier than the german average. Even today more than 40% of the high skilled employees are older than 50years.
Growing need for qualified workers and the high demand for specialists induce the need for new ideas and solutions. The Initiative for skilled labourers in Dithmarschen and Steinburg helps bringing together the demand and the supply.
